Many years ago the
estate at Longbourn was entailed to me, as Mr. Bennet failed to have
a son, having 5 daughters instead. I do feel dearly sorry for him. I
have never discussed this matter with him, and it is high time I do.
I can not possibly be nervous in approaching the family about it. I
have written to Mr. Bennet and have invited myself to the estate in a
little over a month. Hopefully this uncomfortable situation can be
resolved peacefully. It pains me to think I will eventually steal a
house from such a large family.
