Charlotte's dear
friend Elizabeth arrived this morning. It is rather uncomfortable
being in the same home someone you were rejected by in marriage. I
try to minimize contact with her to make things easier for both of
us. She has spent the majority of the day catching up with Charlotte
on foolish matters that are of no importance to a man.
A couple days after
Miss Bennet's arrival, we ventured to Rosings. Darcy was in
attendance there too, and he has taken an interest in Elizabeth. I
can not help but think of what an unsuitable couple they would be.
